Terms of service

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 12, 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Spectre Digital website and to anything you buy from us. "We", "us" and "Spectre Digital" mean Spectre Digital LLC, a Nevada limited liability company. By using the website or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or buy from us.

1. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to buy from us. You are responsible for keeping your account details and licenses private and for what happens under your account.

2. What we sell

We sell digital products: audio plugins, drum and instrument libraries and drum MIDI packs. Nothing is shipped. After purchase, your downloads and license keys or serials appear in your account and in your order confirmation email.

3. Prices, payment and taxes

Prices are shown in US dollars unless the page says otherwise. Payment is handled by Shopify and its payment providers. We do not see or store your full card details. Taxes, where they apply, are calculated at checkout. We may correct pricing or product errors and cancel an order affected by one, with a full refund.

4. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Your license

Software and sounds are licensed to you, not sold. When you buy, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product as described here and in any license agreement shown in the product's installer.

  • Plugins are licensed to one person. Each license lets you install and use a plugin on the computers you own or control, up to the number of activations that comes with your license. You can move an activation to another computer you own, or email support@spectredigital.com.
  • Sounds, libraries and MIDI files can be used in your own music, including commercial releases, without paying us royalties. You may not resell, share, give away or upload the raw samples or MIDI files, alone or as part of another product or sample pack.
  • You may not copy, share, rent, lend or resell your license, key or serial, reverse engineer or decompile the software, or remove or bypass its licensing or protection.
  • A license may be deactivated if it is refunded, charged back or used against these terms.

Some products need software from other companies. For example, Extinction Level Event and Icon Drums Classic Rock run in the free Native Instruments Kontakt Player and are activated through Native Access. Those companies' own terms apply to their software.

6. Intellectual property

Everything on this website and in our products, including software, sounds, text, images, logos and the Spectre Digital name, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. These terms do not give you any ownership of it, other than the license in section 5.

7. Reviews and messages you send us

If you post a review or send us a message, you keep ownership of it, and you give us permission to display and use it on our website and in our marketing. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive or misleading. We may remove content at our discretion.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the website or products to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to attempt to access systems or accounts that are not yours, to interfere with the website, or to resell or redistribute our products except as section 5 allows.

9. Support and updates

We provide email support at support@spectredigital.com and usually reply within one business day. Updates to products are described on each product page. We may change, update or stop a product, and we will try to keep downloads available to customers who bought it.

10. Warranty disclaimer

Our products and website are provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make them reliable, but to the fullest extent the law allows we do not promise they will be error free, uninterrupted or work with every system, host or combination of software. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

11. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Spectre Digital, its owners and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or lost sessions arising from your use of the website or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product the claim relates to. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Third-party services

Our website uses services such as Shopify, payment providers and review tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for their terms or practices. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, U.S.A., and any dispute will be handled in the state and federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.
