How to activate Element Bass

Element Bass activates with a license key. There is no account login inside the plugin and no password to remember.

Activate Element Bass

Step 1: Download and install the current version from the Downloads page. You don't need to sign in to download it.

Step 2: Find your license key. It looks like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and is in your order email and under My Licenses in your account. To sign in to your account, enter the email address you ordered with and we'll email you a 6-digit code.

Step 3: Open Element Bass in your DAW, or open the standalone app. The Activate Element Bass screen appears. Enter your license key and click Activate. (You can also start the free demo from the same screen.)

Step 4: On the Name this device screen, keep the suggested name or type your own, then confirm. The plugin shows that it is activated, and you're ready to play.

Moving to a new computer

Each license can be active on a limited number of computers. On the computer you're leaving, open Element Bass and choose Manage devices, then deactivate that computer to free its seat. Then activate on the new computer with the same key. If the old computer is gone, open Manage devices on the new one: when the device limit is reached, the screen lists your computers and lets you deactivate one.

If something goes wrong

"That key wasn't found": check the key for typos, and make sure it's the key for Element Bass. "Update required": install the latest version from the Downloads page. If the plugin asks for an email and password instead of a license key, you have an old version: install the current version above, and your license key works with it.

Still stuck? Email support@spectredigital.com with your order number. If you can, click Copy support info on the activation screen and paste it into your email. It contains no license key.
